Co-working at Rockweed

The Rockweed Center offers a limited number of co-working memberships.

We recommend a co-working membership if you plan on spending more than 1-2 days or 8-10 hours/week at Rockweed working and using the space.

Co-working is offered at a sliding-scale, suggested donation of $35-$80/month

Please fill out the “I’m interested in becoming a co-worker” form below and we will be in touch with you about available spots.

The Rockweed Center strives to be a space, among other purposes, that serves as an “office for everyone”. We all need a calm spot that isn’t our kitchen table or living room couch to get our work done. We are fostering an environment where folks can sit quietly in a focused way. Rockweed is also a space to have meetings and connect with others.

Formal co-working hours at Rockweed are during drop-in hours— 9-4, Monday-Friday.

Co-workers also have the code to the door and access to the space from 6 am- 11 pm, 7 days/week. Co-workers are welcome to use the space outside of drop-in hours if no events are taking place.

Co-workers can leave personal belongings in the closet behind the coat rack.

Co-workers have first priority to schedule day-time meetings on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Intertidal Zone, and use of the Intertidal Zone for meetings as available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Is co-working at Rockweed a good fit for you?

The guideline for the main room of the Rockweed Center, which is open to the public from 9-4 pm Monday-Friday, is “coffee-shop atmosphere”. This means other people will come and go in the space and conversations at a respectful level may be taking place around you. If you are someone that needs undisturbed silence, this is not the best fit. If you can focus with other people around you, and enjoy a sometimes very quiet, sometimes lively environment, Rockweed may work for you!

During public hours a host will always be on duty to greet newcomers and manage the space. As a co-worker you are not expected to be a host, unless you would like to. You are free to stay focused on your work and do your thing.
